IN THE SUMMERHOUSE
Shrewsbury in Shropshire
By appointment, two people at a time. Covid-19 guidance followed.
An exhibition of my new work shown in our early 18th century summerhouse in the garden and in the garden room.
As we can't do our usual summer open studio event this year we've decided to make a special safe event in the garden. I have some new paintings that I am excited to show you. We think it will be a lovely way of keeping in touch with collectors and friends.
Limited to two people at a time. Social distancing will be observed at all times.
Wander through the garden to our Georgian summerhouse which dates from 1730 to see Linda's new paintings by candlelight. Absorb the atmosphere of an artist's garden over a glass of something refreshing and chat with Linda and Nigel about Linda's new work, art and life in general!
Limited to two visitors at a time. Social distancing will be observed at all times. We will greet you at the front door and take you through the airy garden room to the garden, no need to touch door handles or anything. Just look end enjoy! The entrance, garden room and summerhouse are open to the outside world and are very well ventilated.
Please bring your own glass for refreshments!
Limited to two people at a time. Sorry but we are unable to make a toilet available to visitors except in an emergency.
Please book a time slot below or contact us to make an appointment. (The full address will be supplied on booking.)
Here is a short film about the making of a painting during the summer for this exhibition, with music by Nigel Elliott.
Exhibition will be available to view from August 8th.
