Inspiration.

In the forest beside the river is an oak tree with branches entwined. Animals and birds stop in a moment of calm under the trees. Inspired by medieval art and the work of Trena Cox, stained glass maker, in the last century. Exhibited as part of Trena Cox 100 in Chester Cathedral October/November 2024

Painting in watercolour and inscribed 24ct gold leaf on Saunders Waterford 638gsm cotton paper. Float mounted within a deep conservation grade mount.
